Why Is Troye Sivan in Drag Again? the Real Story Behind 'She's the Best' and Nicole Kidman
By David Miller
The premise of the "She’s the Best" music video relies on tension between private longing and public performance. Sivan enters the frame in layered blonde extensions, meticulous contouring, and an evening gown, channeling the same effortless allure that defined his previous viral turn. Kidman sits in a dimly lit VIP booth, observing the chaos of the dance floor with calm amusement. What follows is not a standard dance cut; it is an intimate club scene serenade where the singer locks eyes with the Hollywood royalty across the room.
Kidman's appearance marks an unusual turn for an actress known for prestige drama and theatrical cinema. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter and The Zoe Report, Kidman leans effortlessly into the camp sensibility of the track. She sips a drink, exchanges knowing glances with Sivan, and eventually sways alongside patrons under flashing strobe lights. The video avoids irony. Instead, both artists treat the experience with sincere reverence, turning a nightlife floor into a shared pedestal where mutual admiration drives every camera movement.
