Fixing this vulnerability requires more than rewriting an animation sequence. Ubisoft's internal developers face a two-front technical hurdle across server synchronization and client animation states.

When an operator interacts with a world object like the armor plate duffel, the game client enters a locked animation state while pinging the server to request an inventory update. If network packets report that the player was interrupted, by sprinting, cycling weapons, or deploying barbed wire, the server must cleanly resolve whether the plate was equipped or discarded. The bug exploited a logic dead-zone where the server registered the armor equip completion without exiting the interaction immunity flag.

The upcoming server-side patch targets this validation check. Development teams must enforce strict state transitions: if an interaction animation is canceled midway through, the operator must immediately revert to standard vulnerable status before any new weapon input can register. Until that verification logic clears automated regression testing, Rook will remain quarantined in the armory.
