Who Plays Tiana? Anika Noni Rose's Voice Legacy and Viral Live-Action Casting Proof
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Rose did not walk away from the apron once theatrical runs finished. Over the next fifteen years, she consistently returned to the voice booth whenever Disney integrated Tiana into external productions. She performed in the 2018 theatrical blockbuster Ralph Breaks the Internet, where audiences saw Tiana interact alongside other Disney royal figures in casual modern attire.
Her biggest institutional milestone arrived inside Disney Parks. When Walt Disney Imagineering re-themed the historic Splash Mountain log flume at both Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland in California, they designed the entire ride around Tiana's post-movie storyline. Titled Tiana's Bayou Adventure, the multi-million-dollar attraction features Rose's voice across state-of-the-art audio-animatronics, cementing her vocal legacy within permanent park infrastructure.
