Complete Moza Pit House Setup Guide: Tuning, Firmware, and Troubleshooting
Fresh software installations require an accurate zero-point baseline before you touch a track. Launch Pit House with your base powered on and your wheel rim locked securely to the quick release. If the digital representation in the software sits skewed while your physical rim is dead level, automatic force indexing will pull the car off-line under acceleration.
Navigate to the hardware configuration tab and run the wheel base calibration routine. This automated sequence rotates the motor shaft through its mechanical stops to map internal magnetic encoders. Once finished, center the rim manually and trigger the central zero-point calibration button. This ensures your computer registers true center down to a fraction of a degree.
Matching the steering angle limit to your chosen discipline prevents unnatural steering ratios. Formula and prototype prototypes generally operate between 360° and 450°, GT3 vehicles sit comfortably at 540° to 720°, and production road cars or drift builds demand the full 900° to 1080° sweep. Set your maximum limit within Pit House first, then enable software sync within titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, or Automobilista 2. Aligning these values eliminates the jarring sensation of hitting artificial soft stops mid-corner.
