Ariana Grande Boston Tour Updates: Td Garden Stage Setup and Production Delays Explained
By Alexander Ross
Q1: Why were Ariana Grande's original Boston tour dates postponed?
A1: Venue and tour representatives cited production delays stemming from the heavy, automated overhead stage rigging. The custom staging required structural adjustments to meet TD Garden load specifications.
Q2: Were original tickets honored for the rescheduled July dates?
A2: Yes. Tickets bought for the postponed late-June and early-July dates transferred automatically to the matching rescheduled dates without requiring repurchases or exchanges.
Q3: What bag size is allowed inside TD Garden for concerts?
A3: The arena strictly enforces a bag policy prohibiting bags larger than 6" x 4" x 1.5". Only small, single-pocket clutches or wristlets meeting these dimensions are allowed through security checkpoints.
Q4: How did the date changes impact ticket resale prices?
A4: Initial ticket resale prices plunged by roughly 30% right after the postponement, but prices rallied significantly in the final 72 hours, reaching upwards of $950 for premium seats.
