North West Rumor Fact-Check: Why This Sensational Claim Is Utterly False
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Away from internet hoaxes, North has been establishing her own creative identity in music, visual art, and live performance. In early 2024, she made history as one of the youngest artists to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with her verse on "Talking / Once Again," a track from Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's collaborative album. She later announced her debut solo recording project, Elementary School Dropout, nodding directly to her father’s groundbreaking 2004 debut.
Her creative trajectory continued to capture headlines across 2026. In June, concert promoter listings and regional outlets confirmed that North had organized the "Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour," a planned 14-city North American run featuring underground rap standout Molly Santana. While North’s team ultimately pulled the plug on the tour in September to reprioritize her school obligations and development, the ambitious booking demonstrated her independent artistic interests.
Her parents have publicly clashed over her digital footprint, with Kanye expressing discomfort over her presence on public social networks while Kim has defended supervised creative expression. Despite these public disagreements, both parents remain united on shielding their children from predatory falsehoods, keeping her day-to-day focus firmly on academics, athletics, and family life in Southern California.
