Four years after her divorce from Hossein, Vlady entered an entirely different world. In 1963, she married Jean-Claude Brouillet, a French Resistance veteran, commercial pilot, and visionary aviation entrepreneur who founded the Central African transport carrier Air Gabon.

In 1964, Vlady gave birth to her third son, Vladimir Brouillet. Life during this era swung between Parisian film shoots and long residencies under the equatorial sun of Libreville, Gabon, where Brouillet maintained private transport fleets and hospitality ventures. The relationship was brief, they divorced in 1966, but it gifted Vlady her third child.

Vladimir Brouillet avoided film sets altogether. He pursued varied commercial ventures in agriculture, logistics, and tourism, dividing his adulthood between France, Africa, and overseas French territories. Vlady frequently noted in her French memoirs that Vladimir brought a grounded, practical sensibility to a household otherwise overflowing with actors, poets, and screenwriters.
