Where Did 'I Don't Fucking Know Megumi' Come from? the Viral Meme Explained
By Chloe Bennett
Q1: Did Ray Chase or Nicolas Roye actually record the "I don't fucking know, Megumi" line?
A1: No. Neither Ray Chase (the English voice of Sukuna) nor Nicolas Roye (the English voice of Toji) recorded this line. The audio originated from an independent online voice actor and impressionist who posted an improvised parody skit on social platforms.
Q2: In which episode of Jujutsu Kaisen does the meme take place?
A2: The dialogue never appears in any official episode or manga chapter. Editors frequently lay the audio over scenes from Season 2, specifically Episode 16 and Episode 17 during the Shibuya Incident arc, when Megumi encounters Haruta Shigemo and summons Mahoraga.
Q3: Why do fans associate the audio with both Sukuna and Toji?
A3: The tone of voice fits both characters' relationships with Megumi. Sukuna is frequently annoyed by Megumi's actions while keeping him alive for his own plans, while Toji is famously negligent and forgot his son's name in the source material.
