Watch the Happy Gilmore 2 Trailer: Bad Bunny and Adam Sandler Team up on the Green

Benito is not carrying the supporting cast alone. Sandler has assembled an expansive roster that mixes nineties regulars with high-profile modern talent. Christopher McDonald reprises his legendary turn as Shooter McGavin, still nursing the humiliation of losing the Tour Championship jacket thirty years ago. Julie Bowen returns as Virginia Venit, providing the emotional center that kept the first movie anchored amid flying golf clubs and shattered windshields.
Beyond the returning leads, the production leans heavily into authentic sports and entertainment cameos. Current PGA Tour players and LIV Golf contenders filmed appearances across summer locations in New Jersey. Sandler confirmed to trade outlets that the locker room sequences feature genuine professional golfers who grew up mimicking his infamous running drive, creating a bridge between real-world golf culture and the slapstick satire that made the original a dorm-room staple.
