Turned Away at the Gate? Why Kia Forum Security Is Rejecting Popular Concert Bags
By James H. Sterling
Q1: Are Lululemon belt bags allowed inside the venue?
A1: Yes, but only if they stay within the 9" x 6" limit. Overstuffing an opaque 1L or 2L belt bag will push it past the size limit and result in rejection. Opting for a clear version avoids this risk entirely.
Q2: What happens if my bag is rejected and on-site lockers are full?
A2: If third-party storage lockers reach capacity, you must return the bag to a personal vehicle or discard it. Gate security staff will not hold items behind the turnstiles under any circumstances.
Q3: Can I bring a portable power bank for my phone?
A3: Small, pocket-sized external batteries are permitted through the metal detectors. However, bulky charging blocks, power bricks with integrated wall prongs, or power banks attached to heavy accessories may be flagged for inspection.
Q4: Do hydration packs or Camelbaks pass security?
A4: No. Hydration bladders, Camelbaks, and multi-pocket outdoor backpacks face an outright ban, even when brought into the venue completely empty.
