The Ultimate Dave & Buster's Power Card Guide: Balance Checks, Chip Values, and Reward Tips
By Robert Thorne
Dave & Buster's allows you to pull up your current game chips and tickets through four distinct channels. Each works best in different situations, depending on whether you are sitting at home planning a visit or standing in the middle of a noisy arcade floor.
The primary remote option is the online balance checker tool hosted on the official Dave & Buster's website. You do not need to register an account to use this feature. Enter your card's specific numerical identifiers into the form, solve a quick verification prompt, and the screen returns an itemized breakdown showing both available game chips and accumulated digital ticket totals.
The Dave & Buster's mobile app (available for iOS and Android) offers a faster route for repeat visitors. Once you link a card to your profile, the home tab displays a real-time dashboard showing your chip inventory, reward tier level, and prize ticket reserves. It updates dynamically after every play session once the arcade network syncs.
If you are already inside a venue, skip customer service desks and walk up to any in-store kiosk balance check station. Tapping or swiping your card on the terminal's card reader instantly pulls up your balance on screen. The interface displays regular chips, promotional non-ticket chips, and prize points without requiring you to punch in numerical codes manually.
The fastest floor verification method requires no kiosk at all. Walk up to any arcade cabinet equipped with an Embed RFID reader tap unit. Tap your card against the illuminated sensor face. The digital display on the reader immediately flashes two numbers before initiating gameplay: your remaining chip balance on top and your banked ticket total beneath it.
