The Full Timeline of 'Is Your Smile Stitched': How an Indie Concept Went Global
By Sarah Jenkins
Q1: Is "Is Your Smile Stitched" an adaptation of an older Creepypasta?
No. The character is completely original, created by digital artist Kaelen Voss in March 2024. It has no connection to forum stories or older text-based internet legends.
Q2: Why did everyone think it was an analog horror series from the 1990s?
Fan creators took Voss's original drawing and added VHS static, distorted audio filters, and simulated broadcast interruptions, which mimicked the style of popular analog horror projects like The Mandela Catalogue.
Q3: Where can viewers watch the official, authorized series?
The official animated project is hosted directly on Kaelen Voss's verified YouTube channel and supported through independent production updates on Patreon, distinguishing it from third-party fan compilations.
