Robert Plant's Family Archive: Photos, Family Tree, and the Truth About Jesse Lee
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Q1: Is Jesse Lee Plant related to Robert Plant?
A1: Yes. Jesse Lee Plant is Robert Plant's biological son, born in September 1991 to Shirley Wilson, the sister of Plant's ex-wife Maureen Wilson.
Q2: Why are there internet reports claiming Jesse Lee Plant passed away?
A2: These claims are entirely false. Unregulated obituary aggregation websites automatically scrape local funeral notices, such as announcements for unrelated individuals named Jesse Lee Gowen, Jr. or Jessie Lee Roberts, and incorrectly pair those death notices with Robert Plant's search keywords.
Q3: What does Jesse Lee Plant do for a living?
A3: Jesse Lee Plant works entirely outside the entertainment industry. Unlike his brother Logan, who built Beavertown Brewery, Jesse Lee maintains a strictly private lifestyle in the UK with no verified public business ventures or entertainment credits.
Q4: How many living children does Robert Plant have?
A4: Robert Plant has three living adult children: Carmen Jane Plant (born 1968), Logan Romero Plant (born 1979), and Jesse Lee Plant (born 1991). His second child, Karac, died tragically in 1977 at age five.
