Finn Bennett Height Comparison: Red Carpet Photos and Co-Star Lineups Revealed
By Sophia Al-Mansoor
Bennett’s screen presence in True Detective: Night Country led casual viewers to assume he stood around six-foot-two. That misconception stems from his primary scene partners in the frozen fictional town of Ennis, Alaska. Chief Liz Danvers is portrayed by Hollywood veteran Jodie Foster, whose verified height is 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
When Bennett shared frames with Foster in the station precinct, he held an unmistakable seven-inch advantage over her. That substantial height difference meant camera operators had to block two-shots using slight low angles or wider focal lenses to keep both actors' faces comfortably in the same frame without decapitating Bennett’s eyeline. Furthermore, co-star Kali Reis, playing state trooper Evangeline Navarro, is a former professional boxing champion measuring 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm). Bennett noticeably cleared Reis by two to three inches even when both wore heavy-tread law enforcement winter boots. The resulting visual anchor made Peter Prior look like an imposing physical presence.
