Optimal Stardew Valley Sprinkler Layouts: Visual Tile Blueprints
The restored Greenhouse offers a fixed interior soil basin measuring 10 tiles wide by 12 tiles long (120 arable spaces total). Because its dimensions are not divisible by five, standard 5x5 Iridium Sprinklers cannot cover the footprint without overlapping or resting outside the dirt.
The most efficient Greenhouse sprinkler layout without late-game island modifications relies on six Iridium Sprinklers. Crucially, two of these can be set directly onto the wooden perimeter border:

By placing two sprinklers on the top wooden framing, they hydrate the outer rows while keeping tillable dirt open. Only four sprinklers occupy actual arable soil, leaving 116 out of 120 tiles available for recurring crops like Ancient Fruit.
With end-game Pressure Nozzles, Greenhouse efficiency reaches an absolute 100%. Two Iridium Sprinklers fitted with Pressure Nozzles placed along the central column cover the entire interior basin. You can water all 120 crops without a single sprinkler taking up garden soil.
