New Furniture Arrival: Costco Releases Colin 72" Accent Console for 2026
By Chloe Bennett
Q1: Does the Colin 72-inch accent console require full assembly at home?
A1: No. The Colin arrives largely assembled within its master carton. Buyers only need to unbox the chassis, install the threaded leveling feet, position the adjustable interior shelves, and attach the door pulls using the provided machine screws.
Q2: Can the console interior safely vent hot home theater equipment?
A2: Yes. The rear panel incorporates factory cutouts for cabling and airflow behind every shelf quadrant. However, running high-draw amplifiers or closed-door game consoles continuously may require keeping the doors slightly ajar during prolonged operational sessions.
Q3: What should buyers check before transporting the box from the warehouse?
A3: Inspect the outer packaging for crushed corners or deep forklift punctures along the carton belly. Due to the unit's 178-pound weight, internal edge damage can occur if pallets are handled roughly during regional cross-dock transfers.
