The audio gained even more traction due to another parallel trend: Cosgrove's actual on-camera reunions with Josh Peck. When the Paramount+ revival of iCarly premiered, Peck made guest appearances as Paul Denham, Carly's high-strung manager. The casting immediately activated audiences who grew up on their contentious on-screen dynamic as Megan and Josh in Drake & Josh.

Behind the scenes, both actors leaned into short-form video. Peck, who had spent the mid-2010s mastering Vine and YouTube alongside creators like David Dobrik, brought seasoned vlogger instincts to TikTok. Cosgrove and Peck posted collaborative sketches poking fun at their decades-long work history, racking up tens of millions of views on Cosgrove's official profile (@mirandacosgrove) and Peck's account.

Fans frequently paired Cosgrove's "I cuss a little" audio with clips of her menacing Megan Parker childhood character. Megan was known for pulling elaborate, remorseless pranks on her brothers. For an audience raised on those episodes, Cosgrove admitting she finally dropped an F-word felt like the ultimate canonical continuation of the character.
