Is Chuchu Tv on Tiktok Mourning a Star? the Truth Behind the Viral Chuchu Passing
By Chloe Bennett
Q1: Did anyone affiliated with the ChuChu TV nursery rhyme channel pass away?
A1: No. The ChuChu TV production network, its creators, voice talent, and regular operations remain active and unaffected. The trending death notices refer strictly to a viral domestic cat from the Philippines named Chuchu.
Q2: Why was Chuchu the cat famous on TikTok?
A2: Chuchu gained millions of views for his "sundo serye" video clips, where he would faithfully wait outside in his neighborhood each evening to meet his owner, Mark Anthony Borcelo, and escort him home.
Q3: When did Chuchu pass away?
A3: Chuchu's passing was confirmed by his owner on social media on September 22, 2026, leading to extensive media coverage from regional outlets, including the GMA Network.
Q4: Why does TikTok keep showing 'ChuChu TV' in the search bar under memorial videos?
A4: TikTok's autocomplete algorithm combines trending emotional keywords with the highest-indexing existing accounts that share the same name, creating an accidental association between the pet's memorial and the popular preschool brand.
