Is Bing Bong Haunted? the True Story Behind Peak’s Possessed Plushie
By James H. Sterling
Q1: Is the Bing Bong plushie actually haunted or controlled by AI?
A1: No. The phenomenon was entirely human-driven. Developers used backend admin tools to join multiplayer lobbies and speak directly through the prop using real-time positional voice chat.
Q2: How do players unlock the Peak Bing Bong badge in-game?
A2: Players must locate the green plushie hidden on the mid-tier crags and successfully carry it to an extraction point or summit without letting it fall down the mountain face.
Q3: Can players still buy the official Makeship Bing Bong plushie?
A3: Makeship operates on limited-run crowdfunding windows. While initial production batches closed following the late-2025 campaign, secondary markets and potential re-runs remain the primary avenues for acquiring physical units.
