Inside the Marcus Majestic Experience: Premium Ultrascreen Dlx, Recliners, and Full in-Seat Dining Reviewed
The marquee draw at Majestic Brookfield is the UltraScreen DLX auditorium. Measuring roughly 70 feet wide and over three stories tall, the display dominates visual field lines from every row. It uses dual-laser digital projection systems, producing deep blacks and high peak brightness that avoid the muddy gray tones often found in aging multiplexes.
Sightlines matter just as much as screen size. Because the auditorium features stadium-style risers with wide walking trenches between rows, patrons never have their view blocked by taller guests sitting in front. The screen uses a slight curve to balance illumination across peripheral edges, preventing the hotspot dimming common on oversized flat screens.
The visual presentation pairs with Dolby Atmos surround sound. Rather than pumping audio through fixed 5.1 or 7.1 channel paths, the Atmos array uses dozens of independently amplified speakers lining the side walls, back wall, and ceiling. Sound designers place audio objects in dynamic, three-dimensional space. Jet engines roar overhead; rainfall whispers from above; bass rumbles through the concrete foundation during heavy action sequences without distorting mid-range dialogue.
