Public scrutiny began in February 2022 outside a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai. Hrithik Roshan stepped out dressed casually, holding hands with Saba Azad, who shielded her face slightly behind an oversized jacket. Within minutes, photos spread rapidly across Reddit forums like r/BollyBlindsNGossip and X. Users rushed to search Saba Azad's profile, asking who she was and how long the pair had been seeing each other.

Initial speculation ranged from a shared film collaboration to deliberate PR setups. Yet entertainment desks soon traced the connection back to mutual artistic circles and creative engagements on social media. Azad, who established a distinct identity through the electro-funk duo Madboy/Mink alongside musician Imaad Shah and her acting in projects like Rocket Boys, brought a different cadence to Roshan's established superstar orbit. As observers began digging into official records, the biographical difference between them became the centerpiece of online debate.
