How to Lock on in Iron Man Reimagined: the Complete Combat Controls Guide
Locking on is an offensive tool, but it draws heavily on suit performance. When you switch fire modes to micro-missiles, your target acquisition mechanics split into multi-vector tracking mode.
Holding Right Click (or Left Trigger) charges the missile lock-on system. Red telemetry squares bloom across up to six airborne hostiles in your forward cone. Each bracketed hostile consumes roughly 4% of suit capacitor energy per second just to sustain the computational track.

Draining your capacitor down to single digits triggers emergency throttle dampening, leaving you a stationary target for interceptor fire. To strike cleanly:
- Paint targets during a high-speed dive rather than in a sustained hover.
- Release the payload once target rings turn solid crimson.
- Immediately vent excess reactor heat by tapping the airbrake keybind (Spacebar on PC or B / Circle on controller) to restore auxiliary thrust.
For sustained engagements, repulsor targeting operates independently of missile locks. Firing single repulsor blasts while holding target lock will gently bend energy bolts toward the locked target's engine nacelles, delivering consistent shield damage without depleting your suit's kinetic reserve.
