Chit's Viral Surge: How 'Do It Lady!' Evolved from an Offhand Quip into Internet Gold
By Alexander Ross
Q1: Who is the creator Chit behind the 'Do It Lady!' audio?
A1: Chit is an independent college basketball fan and casual video creator whose courtside reaction clip went viral after being recorded at a collegiate basketball game in late 2025.
Q2: Why did Big Ten fan sections adopt the soundbite as an offensive chant?
A2: The punchy cadence and urgent timing of the audio matched late-clock possessions, giving student sections a modern, meme-native cheer to urge shooters to pull the trigger.
Q3: Did the creator successfully monetize the viral soundbite?
A3: While Chit gained tens of thousands of platform followers and local media recognition, most financial gains were captured by unauthorized third-party merchandise sellers due to limited trademark protections on short audio clips.
