From Announcement to Opening: the Complete Journey of Bricks & Minifigs in Amarillo
By Marcus Vance
Q1: What are the typical store hours and location details for the Amarillo store?
The store operates at 4215 W Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas. Regular operating hours run Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, though holiday schedules may shift.
Q2: How does the trade-in valuation process work for unbuilt or loose bricks?
Sellers bring collections directly to the front desk. Staff examine loose tubs for foreign objects (like Mega Bloks or broken plastic), inspect minifigures for cracked torsos or fading, and check complete sets against inventory databases. Sellers can choose between an instant cash payout or a higher valuation issued as store credit.
Q3: Does the store allow customers to search for specific single pieces?
Yes. While specific rare parts can sometimes be purchased directly from curated parts drawers behind the register, the bulk brick tables allow customers to sift through thousands of sorted loose elements to locate hinges, baseplates, slopes, and decorative bricks.
Q4: Are the sets guaranteed to contain every original piece?
Pre-owned sets labeled as "Complete" are certified by store staff or vetted trade partners who manually verify piece counts, minifigures, and instruction manuals. Sets sold "as-is" or missing small non-essential parts are marked with discount tags detailing missing elements.
