Fact-Checking Young Thug's Release Dates: 'Slime Language 3', 'Dbc', and What's Real
By Alexander Ross
Anticipation for a new album drop accelerated sharply when Young Stoner Life released a lead single during the final week of August. Label representatives and digital service providers pinned Friday, August 28, as the official arrival date for Slime Language 3. Midnight came and went on the East Coast without the project appearing on Apple Music or Spotify, sending listener forums into an immediate panic.
Hours into the release window, Young Thug addressed the missing files directly on social media: "Few changes sorry for the wait." The brief message led fans to suspect clearance bottlenecks or technical mastering issues. The delay proved temporary. By Friday afternoon, digital distributors unlocked the full compilation, ending several hours of frantic community speculation regarding whether the album had been shelved.
