Fact-Checking Presley Kiffin on Tiktok: Trolling Fans or Just Having Fun with Sister Landry?
By Chloe Bennett
The real gasoline on this digital fire was never Presley’s humor; it was the high-profile relationship between her sister Landry and LSU star linebacker Whit Weeks.
When Lane Kiffin was repeatedly linked to coaching vacancies across the country, Weeks was already an anchor of the LSU defense. That relationship triggered intense banter between the rival programs. The narrative exploded when Weeks and Landry shared playful jabs online following intense SEC matchups. As Us Weekly documented, Weeks' public embrace of the cross-program dynamic became red meat for sports radio callers.
Because Presley frequently posts collaborative videos with Landry during holidays and campus visits, commenters cross-contaminated her posts with Weeks-related memes. When Landry appeared in Presley’s California apartment, users flooded the comments asking if Whit was secretly helping Lane negotiate contracts.
"People forget we have our own actual lives that have nothing to do with depth charts," one viral TikTok comment exchange captured, as Presley briefly answered a fan asking why she was not wearing red and blue. The sisters have repeatedly proven that their personal relationships exist independent of booster club anxieties.
