Does Project Hail Mary Have a Secret Post-Credits Stinger? What You Must Know Before Leaving
By Sarah Jenkins
Is there any scene after the credits in Project Hail Mary?
No. There is no mid-credits scene, end-credits scene, or post-credits stinger of any kind. When the main story finishes, the film is completely over.
Does the movie confirm whether humanity survived the Astrophage crisis?
Yes. Just like in Andy Weir’s novel, the closing scene shows Grace checking astronomical monitoring equipment on 40 Eridani. The light levels from Sol have stabilized back to normal, confirming the Beetles reached Earth and the planet successfully mitigated the dimming sun.
Is there an audio cue or voice recording at the very end of the credits?
No. While Daniel Pemberton’s score runs through the full scroll, there are no secret dialogue snippets, morse code signals, or audio easter eggs once the credits finish rolling.
