Relying exclusively on blocking leaves structural gaps in your online boundaries. Preventing unwanted viewers from encountering your content through proxy accounts or shared features requires deeper adjustments within your overall tiktok privacy settings.

First, restrict duet and stitch privacy globally. Under Settings and Privacy > Privacy, select Duet and set the permission to Only You or Followers you follow back. Repeat this adjustment for the Stitch submenu. By disabling universal Duet and Stitch permissions, you eliminate third-party reposting chains entirely, ensuring third parties cannot repurpose your video into posts visible to blocked users.

Second, manage your tagging and mentions permissions. Under the same Privacy panel, tap Mentions and Tags. Adjust the toggle from "Everyone" to "People you follow" or "No one." This setting stops mutual acquaintances or burner accounts from linking your profile handle in contentious comment chains, removing you from notifications you do not want to receive.

Third, apply targeted comment section restrictions. Inside the TikTok Safety Center frameworks and integrated tiktok account moderation suites, creators can define up to 500 keyword filters. Any incoming response containing designated words is held in review automatically, hiding it from public visibility until approved manually. In addition, setting strict notification privacy limits prevents unwanted activity alerts from cluttering your home notifications panel when secondary accounts interact with threads you have participated in.
