The closing moments of the preview deliver the sequence that ignited social feeds: Steve Rogers stepping out of a dimensional rift in modified battle gear. While the footage does not immediately explain whether this is the original timeline’s Rogers plucked from another era or an alternate variant shaped by multiversal collapse, his exchange with Thor cuts deep. "We didn't finish it," Rogers says quietly, setting down a battle-scarred shield.

This dynamic reframes the entire Multiverse Saga timeline. Rather than lingering on disparate plot threads scattered across Disney+ streaming shows, the creative team is consolidating narrative weight around characters audiences already trust. Polygon’s analysis of the shifting calendar notes that Marvel Studios prioritized completing complex visual effects for this sequence early, ensuring the teaser delivered an uncompromised look at the original ensemble leaders back in uniform.
