Christine Dacera Timeline: from the Makati Hotel Party to Total Legal Dismissal

Dacera checked into Room 2209 of the City Garden Grand Hotel on December 31, 2020. She had planned an intimate New Year's Eve celebration with close friends, all colleagues in the airline industry. By late evening, the gathering expanded. Acquaintances staying in neighboring Room 2207 drifted back and forth between the suites, sharing drinks and conversation across the hallway.
The gathering took place during strict COVID-19 quarantine protocols in Metro Manila. Under the Inter-Agency Task Force rules operating at that time, leisure bookings and non-household gatherings were prohibited inside quarantine-designated facilities. Despite those restrictions, over a dozen individuals passed through the rooms throughout the night.
Witness accounts describe an evening of heavy social drinking.dacera was seen dancing, mingling, and filming social videos until the early morning hours. Around midday on January 1, Dacera was found cold and unresponsive in the bathtub. Her companions attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation before rushing her to the Makati Medical Clinic, where attending physicians formally pronounced her dead.
