Baddies Midwest Cast News: Karen 'Reyna' Dunlap Audition Footage and Last Known Whereabouts
By Marcus Vance
Within hours of the news breaking, true-crime TikTokers and urban commentary channels began uploading unverified theories about the case. Some accounts falsely asserted that Dunlap died on set during filming, while others manufactured claims involving rival auditionees. These rumors muddied genuine search efforts and forced law enforcement to reiterate verified facts.
Baltimore police maintained that the investigation remained focused on physical evidence recovered from the Francis Street property. Spreading unverified narratives complicated the work of local detectives, who had to sift through hundreds of internet tips that originated from social media speculation rather than firsthand knowledge.
Family members spoke out online, requesting privacy and urging the public to refrain from using Dunlap's name as clickbait. They asked that the focus remain on honoring her life as a daughter, friend, and creative individual, rather than reducing her memory to a sensationalized headline tied to a reality show.
