By Alexander Ross
Q1: Is an official Austin & Ally reboot happening on Disney+ in 2026?
A1: No official reboot or revival movie is currently in production. Although the cast members remain close friends and have stated they are open to working together under the right creative circumstances, their active independent schedules have kept a formal project from moving forward.
Q2: What is Laura Marano's current stage project in New York?
A2: Laura Marano has shifted into dramatic live performance, booking an Off-Broadway stage run in early 2026. This marks her formal New York theater debut, following several years spent directing, producing, and starring in feature films for major streaming platforms.
Q3: Does Ross Lynch still act, or is he only focused on The Driver Era?
A3: Lynch continues to consider screen acting roles, but touring with The Driver Era remains his primary business focus. Following his high-profile roles in My Friend Dahmer and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, he has prioritized independent music production and global concert runs alongside his brother Rocky.
