Project Moon maintains one of the most generous fan-creation policies in the South Korean gaming industry. The studio's secondary copyright guidelines explicitly allow fans, hobbyists, and independent illustrators to create, display, and sell fan art at live conventions such as Comic World in Seoul, Anime Expo, or Comiket. The rules permit individual creators to print small batches of charms, postcards, and sticker sheets featuring their own interpretations of the Sinners.

However, this guideline contains three critical restrictions designed to protect the studio and consumers:

• No Direct Game Asset Usage: Fans cannot rip battle sprite sheets, official dialogue stickers, or UI assets from the game files and print them onto physical merchandise for commercial sale.
• Production Quantity Caps: Production runs must remain small-scale, hobbyist-level sales. Mass-producing thousands of units crosses into commercial infringement.
• Corporate Entities Prohibited: Commercial retail businesses, mass-market manufacturers, and dropshipping entities are strictly prohibited from using Project Moon intellectual property without a signed corporate license.

This policy creates an open environment where high-quality fan creations flourish alongside official products. Yet bad actors routinely exploit this freedom. Counterfeit rings scrape original illustrations uploaded by hobbyists to platform spaces, print low-resolution sticker sheets on cheap paper stock, and flood online storefronts with listings that violate both the studio's guidelines and the original artists' moral rights.
