Commercial failure in Midtown Manhattan often spells the end of modern theatrical scripts. Alice by Heart averted that fate through its digital footprint. Released by Ghostlight Records in June 2019, the original cast recording featuring Molly Gordon, Colton Ryan, and Wesley Taylor preserved Duncan Sheik's layered vocal harmonies and strings with striking clarity.
